Knights in
Dirty Armour II
Chapter
VI
" HAPPINESS
"
“Life, Liberty, and
the pursuit of Happiness.”
We are all (supposed to be)
guaranteed that right.
Most of us want happiness. There are a few disgruntled
people who are not happy unless they are miserable. My mother-in-law, for
example. Actually, I’ve
had two that I’ve really known and both are similar; in that it
seems that neither was happy unless she was miserable. “Woe is me, woe is me, I
need attention, I can’t do anything.” “God did not put us on this
earth to be happy; He put us here to suffer by the sweat of our
brow. Says so in
Genesis. Happiness is
evil.”
Using those two examples, I
am not able to state that we all seek happiness. Most of us do. We should all have that
right, whether guaranteed by our shredded Constitution or not.
Those who wantonly take the
life of another, perhaps, are an exception to the rule. I favour the death penalty,
by the way, which will go against the grain of some, but I do not
favour putting an individual into a cage and torturing that person
to death day by day for years and years before their “natural” death
or final lethal injection by the discompassionate State.
1
This is cruel and
unnecessary and of no benefit to anyone but the human zoo
keepers. It is
definitely not any kind of “deterrent” or the crime of murder would
have ceased to exist long before the painless(?) humane invention of
Doctor Joseph Guillotin during the French “Reign of Terror”.
The “Reign of Terror” that
exists in Mayes County Oklahoma is on a much smaller scale than the
grand French movement and is far more subtle.
I have been guaranteed
“happiness” for Marie . . . that is, her freedom from life long
torture for a crime that did not happen, similar to what was written
in the conclusion of “A Tale of Two Cities” . . . with exemption to
that great sacrifice that resulted in the fall of the guillotine on
the neck of Cydney Carton.
I can have Marie freed from prison without sacrificing my own
freedom and be happy.
What a wonderful
proposition. Here’s how
it works:
It was testified by several
that I was “outside” when Marie found our Benjamin having what
appeared to be a seizure [“How long has this boy been having these
seizures” Dr. Christopher DeLong, Mayes County Medical Center] Nora
Stanart even testified that Benjamin himself replied to her question
as to where is daddy, “Outside watering the flowers.” Benjamin’s statement, within
moments of 1830 hours, was, of course, before his accident that
Charles Ramsey calls a murder.
2
Prosecutor Charles Ramsey
calls Benjamin’s accident a murder without any knowledge whatsoever
as to how Benjamin received the initial injury, as he states in his
closing argument: “Ladies and gentlemen…I don’t know”
what happened in that house. He has stated to several
people, including Nora Stanart, that he does know that Marie did not
harm little Benjamin.
Despite this fact he has purposely manipulated a jury and the
law to send Marie to prison to die.
That makes him a premeditated murderer.
But he is a good murderer
because he is working for the State. He is a prosecutor that is
virtually exempt from any accountability. He will not object to
Marie being set free as she is innocent and should be set free. But there is a price.
No one testified that I stayed outside between the
time Benjamin talked with his grandmother on the phone telling her
he is “running and playing” and the minute* later when Marie heard a
noise and ran to find Benjamin on the floor at the end of a piano
bench.
An affidavit is demanded to
accompany the Post Conviction Relief for the retrial of Gilda Marie
Schoonover:
“I, John Schoonover,
stealthfully entered the house without Marie’s knowledge and (did
something to Benjamin which) caused the death of my son to be,
Benjamin, and then stealthfully exited back outside before Marie dropped the
phone upside down on the counter and ran from the kitchen to the
foyer to find Ben on the cement floor next to the piano bench which
is exactly what she did and all that she did.”
There is trial transcript
truth testimony in that proposed affidavit: The final 40
words.
3
Someone with a greater
imagination than mine would fill in the blanks as to motive, agility
and method and then there is the “time frame” but Mr. Ramsey had no
problem finding a 45 minutes “time delay” between 6:35 and 6:40
pm.* How he could so
easily fool Judge Post is beyond my comprehension.
David Copperfield fools his
audiences for entertainment similarly and I enjoy being fooled by
him but he does not make
fools of people.
“Sign this, John, and you
and Marie can get on with your lives.”
Of course, there is the
“Double Jeopardy” clause that would prevent any prosecution for this
“murder” and I would, in fact, be free to do about whatever I
wanted.
Notwithstanding the
ridicule I would receive from some, and I could live with that as it
bothers me none that some feel I am a sob. It would be somewhat
difficult to obtain another child care license but I am beating 69
with an ugly stick and thanks to Ramsey and his close association
with his friend George Klatt we have no home in which to care for
any child anyway.
The headlines would read
“John Confessed to Killing Ben” just as it is on the perjured
Probable Cause Affidavit and as it would be sworn to by me it would
be perjury; perjury that no one would prosecute. I would be as immune as
George Klatt. I would
also be in the same category as George Klatt. Though I have not ordered
the shooting in the back of the head of anyone. It could be said that
I was the one who “busted open” Ben’s head with an asp so
long as no one questioned
that there was no injury for Ben’s brains to be “gushing out
the top of his head” [tr.1340] until after he was operated on
and George Klatt ordered Marie and I out of the room and pulled the
curtains for his privacy with Ben.
4
John would get blamed for
perverting justice and causing Marie to waste five years of her
innocent life in prison.
It would also be that John
would be a traitor worse than Judas. He would save his Marie, but
he would also set free the worst of murderers and those are who act
under the cloak of justice; Knights in Dirty
Armour.
“They are already free,” I
have been told. Yes, they are. They walk among us unnoticed
like free radical cancer cells in our bodies. When we discover them for
what they are it is too late.
Have you ever watched
speeches of Adolf Hitler as he rebuilt Germany after their
depression? Before he
started building gas chambers?
Packed crowds of people praised him for his leadership. Before he started building
gas chambers. He
started out as a Private.
In a small town.
Like Pryor, Oklahoma. He did not have cancer; he
was
cancer.
Adolf Hitler did not appear
to be a bad guy …Before
he murdered the first innocent Jew and started building gas
chambers. He, too, was
a traitor to his people who followed him in blind faith. A snake in lion’s
clothing.
I would save Marie at the
expense of betraying everyone who has read my book or believed in
me. I would be worse
than Judas. Judas only
betrayed One.
I would be betraying
numbers I do not know.
The first one I told of the proposition, Pamela Brook, raised
her voice to me in disbelief that the proposition was even
made!
5
I would betray Denise
Elrod, and other victims of Ramsey. John DuBiel, who has helped me
considerably and wrote the commentary. Ronnie Whitehead who
transcribed my scribbles into a legible text and wrote the
preface. I would betray
Kevin Adams who won the Clarence Darrow award for defending me. So many people I do not know
and will never meet I would betray. Everyone who has signed our
guestbook. All for the
sake of Little Insignificant Marie. More important than any
single individual or group of individuals, I would betray
Justice. I would
condone the Perjured Probable Cause Affidavit by George Klatt that
was used to arrest two
innocents. I would
condone not just George Klatt’s and Charles Ramsey’s, but all perjured Probable Cause
Affidavits used to undermine our Constitution and wrongfully convict
innocents anywhere that are falsely accused.
How does one weigh the
difference between one’s innocent wife, a single individual, and
Justice for All?
Could I live with myself
knowing I would be condoning a grave injustice not only to those
presently involved but future victims unknown to the misconducts of
Dirty Knights who would remain hidden under their cloaks of
Justice? Judas hung
himself when he realized what he had done.
I would not have to resort
to that act as Jim Stanart told me face to face in Judge Post’s
courtroom that if he thought I had harmed Ben he would kill me
himself and justifiably so as Ben was his only grandson. I am not afraid of Jim
Stanart though he could easily “pick me off” at 300 yards with his
.300 Weatherby Magnum.
I would deserve it.
I face the same risk from
others by this exposé.
I could very well join Welch Oklahoma’s Laura Bible and the
Freeman family.
6
Considering those two
options only, Jim Stanart’s shot would be a clean quick instant kill
and the other potentially sloppy and painful. I have been shot
before and in making the choice I would rather a sloppy shot for
seeking Justice than a clean shot as a traitor and coward for
allowing the perversion of Justice.
Nora Stanart may hate me
for risking the very life of her daughter for the sake of Justice
when I could free Marie with a signature on a perjured affidavit,
and I can understand that.
Any who have seen “The Good Son” to its conclusion gets a
glimpse of a type of decision one should not be forced to make. No one is wearing my shoes
but me.
I risk paying the price of
condemning my innocent wife to death in prison for not being a
coward and traitor to Justice.
I understand and feel the
pain of Abraham over his son Isaac; without the benefit of knowing
there is a lamb to take his place. Marie is the innocent
sacrificial lamb.
“Do the right thing.”
Then, arguendo, only a
paranoid person would be skeptical that the honourable Judge Post
may not accept the “sworn to confession” as anything but what it
would be, a perjured statement on a legal document designed to get
Marie out of prison and I just might be betrayed myself and sent to
prison for up to ten years (life) for perjury! Just because they condoned
George Klatt committing perjury on the Probable Cause Affidavit is
no guarantee they would condone me perjuring an affidavit.
7
Mr. Ramsey told Judge Post
when I was ordered released by the Court of Criminal Appeals, “We
have to let him go because there is nothing else we can charge him
with.” “They” would have something if I
knowingly signed their proposed perjured
affidavit.
Of course, not being
inflicted with paranoia, I have no cause to suspect such possibility
of foul play by any Dirty Knight.
The “Post Conviction
Relief” to be filed for Marie will not include the required false
“confession” from me. I
will not slander Kevin Adams hard work and make his Darrow Award a
sham. I will not
pervert Justice for the far greater reward than 30 pieces of
silver. Even if there
was no foul play on the part of the Knights I can certainly
understand why Judas Iscariot hung himself. I would deserve the
same.
“Give me
Liberty or give me
death.”
Give our innocent Marie the
Liberty she deserves through
Justice or give her a wrongful death. Who can know the severity of
invisible internal suffering from making that decision?
***
The following chapter is
the gravamen of the Post Conviction Relief applications in their
entirety so you, the reader, can see what is suppressed from the
jury though is in fact
public record. Added
will be explanations of how certain “tattletale” prejudicial words
are used by the court and why they are used to deceive you into
believing falsehoods. How Justice takes a back seat to protocol.
Those committing wrong will not seek the truth.
